Thanks again for taking part in the Kwiz last week and deciphering the album covers from my sketches.
As always, there was a great response, and loads of correct answers. If you want to know the answers and see if you’ve won, scroll down immediately.
Don’t scroll down too far if you want to have a go at the kwiz just for fun.

Please message Diane at diane@skwiggles.co.uk with the details of the T-shirt you want and your address.

Help
No, it wasn’t that Beatles album 😂
Struggled with a few of those to be fair as they are not all my cup of tea good fun though ! bought my son the Steve Harley shirt for his birthday which he loved
so if i do win as he helped he may get another pressie! 😜
Thanks for trying, I’m sure you got them all right. Thanks for buying Steve Harley 😁
That’s a real tricky brainteaser. Definitely got the old brain cells working after a good dusting off 🤣
Glad you enjoyed it Chris 😃
I was so close. Just got No 3 wrong. Kicking myself now. 🥴
Good fun. Old gits stand a fighting chance and it exercises the gray matter.
😃 Old gits still know what they’re talking about
Enormous fun. Got many of them
Thanks for getting the brain working
Glad you enjoyed it John 😃
Absolutely brilliant – loved it! A few head scratchers there involving some research and guesswork.
Way better than doomscrolling!
Glad you enjoyed it, Dianne 😁
That got me rummaging through the recesses of my brain and my vinyl album collection! Number 2 was a nightmare all on it’s own!
Yes, you’ve got to go back a long way for most, okay all, of them 😃
Good selection, some jumped out straight away and some didn’t, particularly number 5!
😁 No. 5 could’ve been interpreted in many ways 😂 so thanks for trying
This weeks’ album cover kwiz-w/e 30th……you raided my vinyl collection??? No.10 is my only tremor…..Motorhead but not sure if it’s the debut or Overkill?? …..
The Motorhead one is tricky, I think it could be… (left it as a cliff hanger there) 😁
Had to think long & hard about #4 but eventually looking at my albums from the right angle helped me get it (I think!)
Great fun – thanks for the entertainment!
Thanks Steve, glad you enjoyed it. No 4 is a tough one, glad you persevered 😃
Got all of them except one quickly.
Number 8 had me stumped for quite a while as I didn’t get into this band until much later and despite buying the back catalogue, didn’t really enjoy it as much as their later stuff so it didn’t get played much.
Took quite a bit of rifling through my collection to find it and now I have I’ll give it another listen with older ears to see if I enjoy it more now.
Great quiz! 😁
No 3 was a tricky bugger
😁 I’m sure you got it right
There is no way I am going to even guess any of those. I never have had many albums and obviously liked all the wrong music! But I always love a quiz – maybe I will learn something!
Got 4 out of 10, I too recognised George, Fleetwood Mac I thought might be Jethro Tull 🤷♀️ I had some of these albums, the others were my Brother’s and I wasn’t supposed to touch them.
Thanks for having a go, Carole. Never touch your brother’s albums, mine brother was the same :)
Fab quiz. Some trickier than others. Surprised I got 10/10 ,as the wasn’t too sure on the Motörhead and Queen. Thanks for this, great fun.
Thanks for taking part, Nikki, and getting them all right. Sorry you didn’t win, but glad you enjoyed it :)
Had a good look at them and managed to get a couple, but some of them totally escaped me! Never got Rumours, Nursery Crimes (thought that may have been Tom Petty, Malice in Wonderland) Missed Black Sabbath, (hang my head in Shame) and even worse Motorhead :-o Obviously, I recognise them all NOW one or two I wouldn’t have known as I’m not a massive fan of some of the bands, plus I think all those nights playing guitar on Newcastle Brown Bottles, MAY have taken its toll on me! (although I’ll go for the fact that I’m not a massive fan of some of the bands rather than me “getting Arld”
