Sorry, I didn’t get anything done from the priority to-do list. Busy week before Christmas, is that a good excuse?

Photos

Thank you to Peter, who spotted a Stuart Adamson Skwiggles print on this amazing wall at Northern Sole Cafe in Slaithwaite. I’ve put a subtle arrow on there so you don’t miss it.

Thank you to Denise, up at our neck of the woods, in her Billy Joel hoodie

And Gone Savage have got a new album out. The artwork on the CD is ours and you can buy the CD here, I recommend it

Thank you everyone and thanks again for buying from us.

Our Diary

Here’s the key points from our week.

Friday

I helped destroy the world today and bought some Christmas crackers. Apparently, the crack is bad for the environment, so Christmas Day could be the end of us if we all pull at once.

Saturday

Norman: ‘How does he think this is okay? I’m naked and look at him…’

What a whinger.

Sunday

My daughter brought her boyfriend home today, so I dug out this old sketch.

Monday

Norman was a little bit ill today, is it bad if I admit that I really enjoyed it?

He’s fine now, and back to his old tricks.

Tuesday

Christmas Banksy’s been at it again

Wednesday

I went out with me mam, as usual on Wednesday afternoon, and got my Christmas present from her and yet again she didn’t have her bank card and I paid for it. She’s good.

Thought this might be interesting.

Thursday

Another quick sketch from 2015 using acrylic paint on board. Kenneth Branagh – took about an hour. Sorry bit of a rubbish photo.

What’s the world coming to? I needed a wee in Starbucks, but then I saw this sign. Damn

So I used the sink 😁😁 (I didn’t, just to be clear.)

That’s it for now, have a great week. Come back soon.

8 Dec 23

I got Tony Hancock done from the priority to-do list.

Photos

Thank you to Suzanne,  in her Rod Stewart hoodie, with no Rod Stewart gig to go to, come on Rod. Also thanks to Sue who sent two photos in of her husband and friend at the Kiss concert.

The bottom photo is in a pub opposite Madison Square Gardens. Brilliant.

Thank you everyone and thanks again for buying from us.

Our Diary

Here’s the key points from our week.

Friday

Because our daughter was born in America (see $15,000 baby for more info), we always have a Thanksgiving party to put up the tree and decorations. This one was a week late, but here we are:

If you’re wondering, I’m trying to pick up Norman without getting head butted and it’s made me look quite foolish.

Saturday

Went for a walk with my daughter (and Norman of course) and we stopped off at the best coffee shop in the world.

Sunday

Christmas Banksy went large last night.

Monday

I was looking for more Xmas decorations and I found my old squash racket. I last played squash 30 years ago and we’ve moved 700 times since, how is that still on top of the fridge in the garage? It’s a tragic tale of optimism that I kept it. My knees have retired.

Tuesday

Here’s another cartoon from ages ago.

Diane could very easily replace me with the kids in that sketch.

Wednesday

I did this painting of David Bowie a long time ago, it was one of the first paintings I sold at an Art Fayre

.

Thursday

I’m always reluctant to post a poo bag photo on Facebook because it makes people very sweary and angry, but this one’s Christmassy

I’m not sure what I think of the new Doctor Who series quite yet, it’s still growing on me. But when I saw this steam-powered tardis appear in the field I thought I’d write a steam-punk Doctor Who episode.

That’s it for now, have a great week. Come back soon.

1 Dec 23

I got Hayley Williams from Paramore done from the priority to-do list.

Photos

Thank you to Owen in his Jimi Hendrix T-shirt and Steve, who sent in this photo of his Freebird tattoo, which is absolutely brilliant, and finally Scott, who bought loads of prints from us. Thank you everyone and thanks again for buying from us.

Our Diary

Here’s the key points from our week.

Friday

It was Black Friday and no one bought 2000 t shirts so we get to keep our car for another year. People were gouging their eyes out and complaining to Ofcom because of this gratuitous use of sexiness.

Saturday

Had an encounter in the hills today

Sunday

I had a Charlton Heston, Planet of the Apes moment today. I was walking along the coast with Norman (obviously), close to where I grew up, and thought I’ll just detour to the golf course we used to go to all the time when we were kids. It was a great course and we spent a lot of time there. When I got there, I dropped to my knees and punched the air screaming ‘We finally really did it. You Maniacs!’ (is this dramatic enough for you?) I took a photo

It’s a field and I could hardly make out where the holes used to be. Another nail in the coffin of my childhood.

Monday

You’re not going to believe how happy these have made Diane.

Tuesday

Another cartoon from ages ago – spending half your life waiting by the front door drives you to draw something like this.

Wednesday

Me mam bought a jacket from the charity shop and it’s too small, although she won’t admit it. But I thought I could make money out of it. The same type of people who paid to see Houdini would pay good money to see her put it on and try and take it off.

I haven’t told her she’s going to be hung upside down yet.

Thursday

Thought I’d wander around the town being a Christmas Banksy, couldn’t resist an empty frame

I’ve moved to Tatooine or my phone lens needs cleaned, I’ll leave it up to you to decide.

That’s it for now, have a great week. Come back soon.
