Thank you to Alison for sending in the photo from an Elvis tribute night, hope you had a great time. Also thank you to Andy, who generously bought the Children in Need T shirt and looks very happy with it. Thanks Andy. Finally thanks to Deborah, who’s sneaked quite a few Skwiggles prints onto her brilliant wall.

Thank you everyone and thanks again for buying from us

Our Diary

Here’s the key points from our week.

Friday

Had a trip on a train and saw this person on a jetpack

Saturday

I went out for a night out in a town just down the coast. This was a town where technology hadn’t been invented yet. We went into several pubs that didn’t have a card machine and I had to use that papery stuff we used before the pandemic.

Sunday

Norman didn’t appreciate the fact I was hungover and wanted to watch the full season of Loki. Since I did nothing today, here’s a painting I did a while ago.

Monday

Swam across this river to get away from him

Tuesday

Did this cartoon ages ago, when my daughter used to wander around the house on Facetime.

Wednesday

I really wanted to be there when my 84-year-old mam explained to her friend Mavis, what AI and Chatgtp was all about. That would’ve gone viral on YouTube.

Thursday

The fact that Norman’s biting the head off an elf, leads me to believe he’s not in the Christmas spirit yet.

This barbed wire is a big heavy metal fan

That’s it for now, have a great week. Come back soon.

17 Nov 23

I got John Travolta done from the priority to-do list.

Photos

Thank you to Jan and David who accidentally met on a cruise and saw each other’s Skwiggles T-shirts and sent in the photo. Love that. Thank you.
Also, Paddy in his scary Trapdoor T-shirt, great guitar background.
Another brill photo from Neil, in his Signals T-shirt, with some Skwiggles prints behind with The Boss.

Thank you everyone and thanks again for buying from us

Our Diary

Here’s the key points from our week.

Friday

I won, he blinked.

Although I didn’t really explain the rules to him.

Saturday

I’m glad the Remembrance weekend went by without too much hassle

Sunday

I did a very strange thing today. Did anyone realise that there were still places in the centre of towns where you could go, just wander in, take something off a shelf, wave your card in the air and leave.

I haven’t been shopping in town for ages, thought it was a myth like trains.

Monday

Someone sent me this

And I love it. If Noddy could tell me what to do all the time, I’d be happy with that.

Tuesday

Norman’s been watching reruns of Pride and Prejudice where Darcy comes out of the water.

Wednesday

I actually got a face to face appointment with another near-mythical creature that I wasn’t sure existed, a unicorn, not it wasn’t, it was a doctor.
Nothing to worry about I hope, but they’re sending me for a brain MRI just to be on the safe side, I hope they find something e.g. a brain.

Thursday

I did this when my daughter was about 8.

She’s 20 now, and her description remains the same.

This is how I get Norman to sleep

That’s it for now, have a great week. Come back soon.

10 Nov 23

I got Rod Stewart done from the priority to-do list.

Photos

Thank you to Scott with his Skwiggles Wall of Rock, I like what he’s done there, rock on rock. Also thanks to Paul, with his George Harrison t-shirt, at the annual Beatles Week this year.  And Russ at the Springsteen concert this summer, with a Skwiggles T-Shirt and Sweatshirt.

Thank you everyone and thanks again for buying from us.

Our Diary

Here’s the key points from our week.

Friday

Tried to get Springsteen tickets for Sunderland, but they gave me tickets right at the back so I pressed ‘Search again’ and then got ‘Connection Lost’ for the next hour.

So I’m not going, and I’m trying to be brave about it.

Saturday

Saw this inspirational sign in the woods – then noticed the author before getting chased by alien reptiles from another dimension

Sunday

We watched Strictly Come Dancing at full volume for two hours tonight. Why would anyone watch Strictly Come Dancing at full volume for two hours? Why, I ask you?

It’s Bonfire Night. Norman’s okay with it but Lizzi gets a bit shaky. I get a bit shaky watching Strictly Come Dancing at full volume for two hours, but LIzzi is above me in the food chain. So we replaced fireworks with

Sorry Tess and Claudia

Monday

Who feels sorry for Fiona? I do.

She’s had her own little patch of grass all to herself and then she got rescued and is now in a petting zoo with loads of people looking at her and petting her. Can we call that rescued?

Tuesday

Found a photo of Humphrey

If you read this post (Humphrey) you will realise the sticky out fur on his back end is from the urine slide he made,

Wednesday

Here’s a painting I did of Al Pacino a long time ago.

I don’t think I finished it because it looks like I got bored with his hair and filled it in with an old brush from behind the shed.

Thursday

If you’re squeamish, please don’t look at this next image

Norman likes to rip the heads off his teddies and pull their guts out.

And you thought he was cute.

Just walking along the path next to the railway line and look what flew by.

Norman seems unimpressed

That’s it for now, have a great week. Come back soon.

3 Nov 2023

I got The Sensational Alex Harvey Band done from the priority to-do list.

Photos

Thank you to John and Pete in their Bobby Firmino T-shirts at Anfield with King Kenny in the background. Love it. Liverpool beat Everton so I think the whole crowd should wear them to bring good luck.

Also, thank you Donald for taking Frankie Miller all the way to Canada and finally Mark with Geoffrey. Thank you everyone and thanks again for buying from us.

Our Diary

Here’s the key points from our week.

Friday

We carved some pumpkins.

Mine is supposed to be the Skwiggles Nosferatu design I did a couple of weeks ago. But I forgot the dark space under his elbow wasn’t attached to any other part of the pumpkin and it fell out. Whoops. Diane’s is better, look away if you’re easily scared.

Saturday

We decided to go all Wim Hoff again and boost our endorphins, lower our cholesterol, reduce our blood pressure and make ourselves feel dead good by having a swim in the Solway Firth. Here’s me and Hannah, with Diane bravely volunteering to take a couple of photos.

The eagle-eyed amongst you will notice another character, who’s usually first in, not going in. He seemed to be a little freaked out that we were in and not him, so he sat and watched.

Sunday

Whoo, I’ll have a lovely lie-in today with the clocks going back. I don’t understand it when people say that, because it’s a Sunday and you can lie in as long as you want anyway. Also, no one told Norman about the clocks, so he was busting for a wee at 7(GMT) rather than 8 (BST).

Norman, in Autumn we put the clocks back so people get up and go to work earlier to save on candles…..

Me neither.

Monday

Found out where Batman lives

Tuesday

We had tonnes of kids knocking on the door this year for Halloween.

I’m not sure about the Trick or Treat rules, do you give sweets to kids who haven’t dressed up? What about the ones vaping with facial hair?

Norman didn’t like any of them, even the cute ones in the NASA spacesuits.

Wednesday

Here’s a sketch I did of Robin Williams ages ago, using only a biro so I couldn’t make any mistakes.

The photo I used to sketch from was taken when he was in his early 60s but I’ve still made him look ancient. Sorry Robin.

Thursday

Living in Cumbria where the population is small and they like to dump nuclear waste, I come across top secret facilities that I shouldn’t really see. This is the Area 51 of the UK and here’s an alien communication complex that I’ve uncovered. The mast is 62 miles high to reduce atmospheric interference.

And I found ancient alien laser gunship technology just lying around in the field.

Do you think I might have been a bit bored on that walk with Norman?

Bet you wish you lived next to a rainbow factory.

That’s it for now, have a great week. Come back soon.
