Below are some classic rock songs that I’ve decided to describe to you in the hope that you’ll understand what I’m thinking and then guess the right answers.

Here’s the songs:
1. It’s about a woman who cleans car engines. Her upper legs are from the USA, not sure about the rest of her. By the sound of it, her house is in a place liable to violent movement of tectonic plates, especially at night.
2. He’s a murderer, and he told his mother about it and made her cry. He’s got no money and neither as his family. He’s not bother about the wind blowing in any direction, but he’s very frightened if it turns into thunder and lightning. Don’t throw stones at him or spit in his eye, he doesn’t like it.
3. He’s packed in his girlfriend because she’s not a psychologist. She’s probably sick of his grumpy face anyway, and he just sighs at her jokes, the misery guts. He’s overthinking things, and he’d better start enjoying life a bit more before it’s too late.
4. They’ve been away for a while, but they’ve come back now. So if you could tell everyone that would be great. They like a punch-up on Fridays, but if they get too rough, you can slap them in the face, and they’ll fall about laughing at that. The winter months will fly by now.
5. He doesn’t have to pay to move quickly from a place that’s high to a place that’s lower using gravity.
6. This person needs to call a painter. He doesn’t like colourful doors or cars. He’s not happy about colourful dresses either, to be honest, and the sun is too bright and the sea too green. I think he might be photophobic.
7. It’s another rockstar dumping his girlfriend tomorrow. And his excuse is pretty feeble – he’s just got a lot of places to see, and that’s that. You won’t change him.
8. The advice in this song is to close your eyes when a blind man is shooting bullets everywhere. Not sure that’s good advice, because if they miss, you’ve still got to watch out for them rebounding off surfaces.
9. This guy’s out of work, no one cares about him, and he’s very frustrated. There’s only one solution – drop litter, park on double yellows, drive 35 in a 30. And don’t judge him because you haven’t a clue what it’s like.
10. When this woman goes on a date, she puts on her flak jacket and Kevlar helmet, loads up her SA80 service rifle, clips on the grenades, and pops over the top into what she hopes isn’t no-man’s-land.

Think I accidentally entered when still inputting number 9 ! – I was trying to put We will Rock you by Queen- which I think is wrong anyway.

A really tough one this! Reasonably confident about most but struggle big time with 9 – Cantveven work out WHO??
Didn’t enter but got two correct. Should’ve got more. Number 5 and 10 were the only bands I’ve never saw live. 🤣🤣🤣

I needed a lie down in a darkened room after this one, the grey matter was in overdrive but pleased to get them all right (with help from a certain search engine of course) :-)
