I never realised Pantera used to be Glam Rock, and Dimebag’s (first name terms) hero was Ace Frehley. I can’t find any of their early stuff on Spotify so not sure if they’re embarrassed about it. But that’s irrelevant information, Dimebag Darrell is 9th in Guitar World’s ‘100 Great Guitarists’ and Geezer Butler thinks he’s “one of the greatest musicians to grace our world.” That’s good enough for me.
