It’s a toughy this week, but I thought we could share some of our favourite second-best Beatles songs and see which ones are the most popular and make the Top Ten.

The voting is closed now, thanks for taking part. The results are below.

So, if they’re in the list below they’re banned because, as you know, they are the classics and that would be too easy.

Took a hell of a lot of thinking about, because as usual, in your typical snidey style, you’ve banned any that immediately spring to mind! 😀 actually had a few in mind to submit which weren’t on the list, but they’re mostly covers, so reckoned you mightn’t count them

It took me a while to narrow it down to two. Of the banned songs, there are a few I could wait a while before hearing again!

I was the one person who voted for Hello Goodbye, it’s so nice to be unique (and right!)

I missed this quiz. Love Norwegian Wood and Nowhere Man is way above Ob la di or Ticket to Ride. Shame.

When you look at all the songs voted for what a catalogue of music they produced. Interesting to see people’s choices too.
My favourite is “in my life” means so much to me and brings back memories of living in the city of Liverpool

Like Richard, I too like “In My Life” although unlike Richard I enjoy listening to it for different reasons, it always takes me back 20 years, and a glorious night in Turkey (Istanbul to be precise). If you’re unsure of what I’m on about, if you’ve never seen the video, go to youtube and search Sky Sports in my life, and you’ll see what I mean
