Top Ten Second Best Led Zeppelin Songs

I thought this week we could share some of our favourite second-best Led Zeppelin songs and see which ones are the most popular and make the Top Ten.

The voting is closed now, thanks for taking part. The results are below.

If they’re in the list below they’re banned because they are the classics and that would be too easy.

Absolutely agree, if you first started listening to rock music in the 70s (like me) they were the standard you judged all others. Brilliant

I agree, they set the standard for every one, and inspired almost every rock band since

Google says they have 94 songs, at least 5 mins each, that’s nearly 8 hours of heaven (with of without a stairway), you’d better get cracking 🙂

Snigger, I can imagine the lyric 13 year old you would’ve liked (and probably still do) 🙂

I chose the Lemon Song – then I went back to LZII (Vinyl of course) to listen again, and maybe should have gone with Thank You – one of the first acoustic riffs I learned. But no I will stick with the Lemon Song – aargh! but How Many More Times from LZ1? – another classic bass line riff. Think that should have been on your banned list? Bron-y-Aur Stomp? – bollocks. Hats off To (Roy) Harper – no stick with my first choice. Too many

You’ve given that some good thought Mark, and think you’ve made a good choice, a few have voted for Lemon Song
