This week we shared some of our favourite second-best Rolling Stones songs to see which ones are the most popular and make the Top Ten.

The voting is closed now, thanks for taking part. The results are below.

If they’re in the list below they’re banned because they are the classics and that would be too easy.

Good fun and not as easy as you’d think! I remember when Ready Steady Go! Episodes were repeated in the early 80’s seeing them do ‘Off The Hook’ which stuck with me and probably my favourite Stones track. I Forgot how much I loved the early Stones so thanks!

Apparently Jagger altered the lyrics so as to aim it at the Vietnam war which it was subsequently boycotted & banned by a lot of American radio stations
Still a cracking song though 👍

Surprised Route 66 is not on the banned list, surely THE Rolling Stones classic.

Yes, it’s a classic, but becasue they didn’t write I thought I’d leave it off. Sorry.

Been a Stones fans for decades seen them a few times but as the years went by I found myself listening to them less and less, they released Blue & Lonesome in 2016 and it was the best thing they’ve done in years ,a phenomenal album. Hopefully they can squeeze another visit to Scotland soso this old pensioner can rock and roll once more before they finally….. Fade Away 😆 see what I did there

Sorry Bob, no one voted for it. Just listened, and you’re right about it being classic Rolling Stones

Never voted, as, with Rush, I couldn’t think of one. But, now that it’s all over now Baby Blue, (Oh hang on, wrong artists) bit surprised nobody thought of Undercover of the Night, which, if I remember correctly, once again got them told off by the grown ups, as it references “shady goings on” in Central America, which was a bit of a hot topic at the time. DID YOU KNOW, that they were actually forced to alter the Lyrics of Let’s Spend the Night? Once again the Moral Guardians of the US’s soul got themselves in tizzy over the lyrics, they were utterly disgusted at the “very implications” the Chorus of of the song, so the band had to re-record the song & insert the line “let’s spend SOME TIME together”

I agree Undercover of the Night was a good one, maybe just a bit too naughty for Skwiggles customers

I missed the vote and agree with all those listed but mine would have been Time Waits For No One. If for no other reason than Mick Taylor’s guitar solo and Nicky Hopkins on piano. Of course Mick’s lyrics rounds it out.
