We’ve had a few adventures this month.

Firstly, as we set off on our walk, just round the corner, this opened up in front of us.

I haven’t seen one before, but is this a sinkhole?

Norman can always tell when there is danger because the clouds smell funny.

And today the clouds smelled very funny. Not the best time to go down the most dangerous street in town.

Cue the Ennio Morricone music from The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

To be clear, Tabby and Blackie are Bad and Ugly (says Norman).

Not even humans dare to go down there, look what Norman found on the same street before we met the cats:

A cheese sandwich in the bushes (Norman)

No, I’m not a forensics expert, but CSI will obviously deduce that someone’s murdered The Angel of the North. Prime suspects: Tabby and Blackie.

Bad and Ugly (Norman)

Scared, we doubled back and took a shortcut over the fell.

As you know, The Slag Bros can summon up appropriate prehistoric creatures to help them on their journeys, and I think they left one behind.

Norman loves baby triceratopses, tricerapi, but what he can’t stand is gambolling.

Stupid lambs are so stupid (Norman).

On the way down, people must’ve been bad and God decided to flood the world. Paths became rivers and Norman tried hard to process this new information.

It didn’t take him too long.

And then all there was left in the world was a Ninja Turtle swimming with a Minion.

And a dog who really really liked ice cream.

When the flood subsided, the world was a different place, ruled by giant sandworms.

And deadly Groynes.

We combed the beach.

But there was no one to be seen. If there is anyone still out there, please keep your curtains closed at all times.

Then a sign came from over the horizon.

The incredible sighting of a Cloud Phoenix, meaning everything was going to be great.

So we went home to Diane for coffee and dog biscuits. Norman likes coffee and I love… anyway doesn’t matter.

Have a great weekend.

Take care and all the best,

Ian

Perfect story as per usual. Perfect example of a ‘sinkhole’❀😊

And, your cloud picture reminds me to look skywards as I explore The Yorkshire Wolds and Dales 😊☁️☁️

Norman is the dog we don’t have & even the lovely Eric is warming to him thanks to your hilarious antics together. (The lovely Eric was bitten by a dog when he was a small boy & still can’t get near a Pekingese &to be honest neither can I cos my old Auntie Babs had one years ago which use to dribble everywhere lol!!) I’m off into the garden now to see if there is anything in this ‘Cloud Sniffing’. Have a great weekend.

Poor Eric, I’m glad he likes Norman after all he’s been through. Norman says the clouds have told him it’s going to be a good day for Eric, so if you could pass that message on. Have a great weekend yourself x
